Received my certificate for participating in the 68th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women CSW68. I’ve had the privilege of engaging with global leaders, advocates, and activists, all united by a common goal: advancing gender equality.
It has been an incredibly enriching experience that highlighted the harsh realities faced by women globally, from the disproportionate impact of poverty on women to the systemic biases ingrained in our institutions.
The discussions were rich and encouraging and every topic underscored the importance of collective effort and collaboration across borders and sectors.
Being part of this dialogue has deepened my understanding of the complexities surrounding gender equality. The exchange of ideas, perspectives, and experiences has fuelled my determination to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of women’s rights and empowerment.
I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of this transformative experience and thank UN Women and UN Women UK, Tabitha Morton and Atonte Semira for making this happen.
I encourage you to join me in becoming agents of change to foster a more equitable and inclusive future for all.
